PhD position is available at the Henri Fayol Institute

Objavljen je konkurs za stipendiju i upis doktorskih studija na Henri Fayol Institutu, Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne, Francuska. A PhD position is available at the Henri Fayol Institute, Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne, France

IEOR team, LIMOS CNRS Lab. UMR 6158

Duration: 36 months (Oct 2013 - Oct 2016)

The PhD is funded by the Ministry of Research for 3 years and covers a stipend of about 20,000€ per annum (net).
The candidate will be located at the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne (France).http://www.mines-stetienne.fr/en

We search for candidates for a new research project on Assembly Line Balancing
Keywords: Line balancing, Combinatorial Optimization, Operations Research

Applicants should have (or be about to finish) a relevant master degree.
Strong knowledge of combinatorial optimization techniques (mathematical programming, stochastic programming)
and programming skills (C++ or Java) are required. Knowledge of discrete event simulation would be an advantage.
